For all you out-of-towners, if you find yourself in New England this afternoon, you should take a day trip over to my old college stomping grounds in Boston and visit Nanette Lepore on Newbury Street today... Literally!Nanette (herself!) will be at the Boston location from 5-7 p.m. EST today! Additionally, the event (hosted by Red Sox wives, Jacque Francona and Kelli Pedroia) benefits a fabulous cause, Kids Clothes Club, a non-profit to put downy goodness on the backs of school children everywhere!
Not to mention, a fabulous gift with purchase (which I'm told is adorable and cheetah print, rawr!) and 15% off!
After the event, pop into the other oh-so-generous boutiques on Newbs (Marc & Marc by Marc are participating!) and Charles before hitting up the Liberty Hotel for a silent auction and additionally yummy hor d'oeuvres and cocktails!
Unfortunately, I won't be at the event but enjoy a glass of Veuve, shop up Nanette's tres adorable F/W line, and send my favorite shopgirl, Joann Nicole, love for me!
